Finishing this piece I did a satin stitch on the edge and free motion stitching all the blackened lines.

What fun I had and it's over, joy joy! Now to have fun with smaller pieces again.

These next pictures were taken indoors and I really think they came out too dark:
The top photo was taken in my sewing room ( with 8-4ft fluorescent lights) the bottom photo in another part of my house.

What a great piece! What is it constructed on? It could almost be silk fusion? But since you satin stitch finished it, I'm sure it's not.

Judy it's silk fused to Timtex using Heat and Bond Lite( not permanent but for the time I need it to be fused for stitching). I find it being fused to Timtex makes it easier to free motion stitch using my sewing machine. Thanks for coming to see my pictures.
